A Different Kind of Produce Company

Andy Boy is unique among produce companies in that the majority of all of our employees are with us (except for a brief winter break) on an almost year-round basis. Employee longevity is a proud tradition here. Multi-generational families and employees who have been with us almost half a century tell you how significant those relationships are here at D’Arrigo. We believe in creating an atmosphere of good health and good living for our employees. In the fields, employee safety is our utmost concern. In our packing and cooling facilities we adhere to the strictest standards set up by OSHA. Providing an excellent work environment is just one way we care for our employees.

There are many other ways D’Arrigo Bros Company supports our employees, including through motivational and esteem-building programs. Regular field barbeques, employee special events and incentive programs like our celebration of The Joy of A Healthy Life, a yearlong program designed to increase employee awareness of healthy eating, exercise the establishment of baseline health measures and regular visits to the doctor. The program, now in its second year, has produced excellent results with much greater awareness of all the elements of a healthy life.
