Summary/objective:
Under supervision from the IT Projects & Technical Support Manager, this role performs varied functions pertaining to field scan guns, printers, and other IT field equipment support duties. Day to day activities require the use of initiative and good judgment, particularly when prioritizing work or dealing with harvesting employees.

- Visiting harvesting and production crews at ranches throughout Salinas California, Dome Valley Arizona, Yuma Arizona, San Luis Arizona, and the surrounding areas.
- Working out of Yuma Arizona for approximately five months (November to April) of the year and Salinas California for the remainder of the year
- Setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing field scan guns and printers for the Harvesting Department
- Creating online trouble tickets to send in damaged equipment to various vendors
- Documenting and maintaining scan gun and printer inventory
- Troubleshooting IT equipment used by field personnel
- Consistent attendance is mandatory
- Other job duties as assigned

Work environment:
- Mostly outdoor with occasional indoor work
- Hours of work: 7:00am to 4:00pm, M-F with occasional overtime

Required education and experience:
- Must have knowledge and be able to use GPS directions via Smartphone
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure while managing multiple tasks.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be biliterate (verbal and written) in English and Spanish
- Must have CA driver’s license and clean driving record
