SUMMARY:

The D’Arrigo Brother’s Company (DBC) IT Developer Intern will work in DBC’s IT developer group under the direction of the Director of App Development and Data Management.  This paid full-time intern will be expected to work with our existing developers and business units to support our highly customized ERP system.  The ERP system development work will be done mainly in Dexterity, SQL and SSRS but could include other programing languages and platforms.

DUTIES:

• Understand and document the business problem
• Gather requirements to deliver the business solution
• Implement solution, mainly in our Microsoft Dynamics GP programing environment but could include various other tools
• Test and document the solution

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• S in Computer Science or equivalent experience desired
• Core hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
• Regular and consistent attendance mandatory
• Valid driver’s license

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Experience with or aptitude to learn programing language for Microsoft Dynamics GP (Dexterity)
• Experience with or aptitude to learn C#, Java and SQL
