Summary/objective:

This position supervises the day-to-day operations within the Shipping/Receiving/Cooling program.

  • Supervising/direction of union workforce
  • Managing inventory
  • Ensuring order quality and accuracy
  • Organizing cold box
  • This is a supervisory role and has policy development, presentation, and department payroll responsibilities.

Work environment:

  • This role works outdoors for shipping responsibilities and indoors for receiving.
  • Full time, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work

Travel required:

  • The Supervisor position travels within the U.S. 30% of the time, 10% of the time to Mexico and does occasional overnight trips.
  • Potential seasonal relocation to Yuma, AZ and Northern Mexico.

Required education and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience
  • High School diploma or GED

Preferred education and experience:

  • Warehouse/shipping/receiving/cooling experience
  • Inventory experience
  • Experience working in agriculture
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
